Why is it so hard to find a bin?

That was the question. A simple, maddening frustration shared by every traveler: you're exploring a new city, you've got a wrapper in your hand, and there's nowhere to put it. So it ends up in your pocket — or worse, on the ground.

KrapMaps was built to fix that. Not by governments. Not by corporations. By the people who actually walk these streets, wander these trails, and know where every bin is — or isn't.

Mission
What we're here to do

"To make the world cleaner and more accessible by empowering communities to map and share trash bin locations worldwide — making proper waste disposal easy for everyone, everywhere."

The team

We've lived this problem.

KrapMaps wasn't designed in a boardroom. It was built on the road — in Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, Penang, and everywhere in between. We've walked miles with rubbish in our pockets, hunted for bins in foreign cities, and watched litter pile up in places that deserve better.

That frustration is the fuel. This isn't just an app — it's a movement. And every user who drops a pin is part of it.
